Teri Cobb

My name is Teri Cobb.  I live in Eagleville, Tennessee, with my husband and two children.  Lance and I were high school sweethearts and married in 1993.  With our children off in college, we are almost empty nesters except for our spoiled puppy Marleigh.   I graduated from Jacksonville State University with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education.  After Ryleigh was born, I have enjoyed being a full time stay at home mom to both Ryleigh and our son Ethan.  They have kept me busy with all their activities through school.  The number of football, basketball, and baseball games that I have attended over the past 14 years would be more than I can even begin to count.  College football still continues for Ethan at Tennessee Tech and I love to watch him on the field.  Time has slowed down with my kids out of high school but I still stay very busy with my church activities and a recent part time job with a local real estate company.  I tell my husband now that the kids are in college we have a lot more time to travel!!  We can’t wait to take our first trip to Disney without the kids….but we will have to keep it a secret for sure!

I enjoy family game night, movie nights at home, cooking, reading, crocheting, and shopping with my sister.  I love traveling, and one of my favorite destinations is Walt Disney World in Florida.  It doesn’t matter where our summer vacations take us,  we always say nothing can compare to Walt Disney World.  It is just our family’s happy place! We have created many magical memories there through the years.   I remember when I was a little girl and the first time my parents took my sister and I to Disney World.  Meeting Mickey Mouse for the first time, seeing Cinderella’s castle, and that Railroad Train around the park is what I remember most.   Before I was married, my parents took us on several Disney trips and looking back now, it is some of my favorite childhood memories.  Being the oldest sibling, I have always been in charge of our vacations with my sister and her family. I soon became the official Disney planner for our many summer vacations.  They like to call me “Tour guide Teri”.   As awesome as it is to experience Disney as a child, nothing compares to the joy we feel as parents when we see our children fall in love with the Disney magic right before your eyes.  I’ll never forget watching our children as they reached for the characters during the parade and the happiness they experienced on their first Disney trip. Magic Kingdom is my favorite park and just walking down Main Street when the park first opens still gives me goosebumps every single time.  Watching the shows and parades and fireworks, is my favorite part of the vacation.  I also enjoy the many dining options and through the years my family has experienced many of the restaurants and almost all of the character meals.  Disney certainly offers something for everyone and every family.  Allowing me to plan your Disney vacation would be an honor.  I look forward to helping you plan your family’s vacation.
